Journey to Celtic sacred sites

With Rose Reeder

Centre, Reconnect and Restore on this luxury pilgrimage to southern Ireland designed to awaken your innate sense of knowing, and open you to the peace of connection with the ancient energy of the sacred sites sheltered by Mother Earth.

If you are ready to learn new ways to connect with the true essence of your being, to increase your confidence and trust in your inner knowing and discover how to remain centred in your daily life, then join Rose in the magical and ancient land of Ireland.

Standing at the edge of a Stone Circle in West County Cork, while the wind gently slips around you, you feel the first tingling of energy through your feet, legs and arms as an understanding settles deep in your heart that you are home. You rest your hands on the ancient standing stone in front of you absorbing the gift of infinite knowing this land is offering. You feel the love of healing wrap itself around you like a warm blanket and you know this energy, this knowing, this gift will stay with you always.

You close your eyes and feel your heart enter the rhythm of this sacred place, as your essence begins to mingle with the essence of the stone circle. Peace comes over you and you sense the standing stone lean toward you in an embrace. Your body lengthens, standing taller as your feet ground and root to the ancient, welcoming soil supporting you.

With your companions, you step inside the stone circle, allowing the stones to envelope you with love and infinite understanding. Fears, anxieties, and negative emotions release as you stand in a circle with your companions, a circle within a circle, and you know that you are forever changed. The power that is yours to claim settles deep inside you and your spirit rejoices as you connect fully with the essence of who you are.

Immerse yourself in Ireland for an exceptional week experiencing sacred sites, interspersed with time for self-reflection, guided meditations, dream circles and Qi Gong.

Food and Accommodations

The Experience

As we gather each morning, guided practice of meditation or dream circle ceremonies balance and ground you for the day ahead.

On sacred site days, we travel approximately 2 hours, stopping halfway for a gentle hike, close to water and forest honouring the connection with earth and energy. At the sacred place we move through guided ceremonies and quiet reflection. Safe boundary space is held as you travel through the layers of connection in the “thin place” where energy and time exist close to the surface of our reality. Another stop on the journey back to Ballymaloe on the wild and spectacular Irish coast. A chance to absorb, integrate and rest before our return home to the house. For those that wish, a sharing circle gathers in the evening after dinner.

On Ballymaloe House days (day following a sacred site), you will ease into the day with a guided dream circle ceremony and meditation. At midday we will gather for gentle Qi Gong. There will be time self-reflection, and quiet as well discussion through sharing circles for those that wish to participate. Yoga Nidra or meditation will close out the day.

  • The closest airport to Ballymaloe house is Cork International Airport (ORK) which is about 30 minutes via taxi or car. The other major airports in Ireland are Dublin (DUB), a 3-hour drive and Shannon (SNN), a 2-hour drive. We anticipate some participants may add extra time before or after the stay at Ballymaloe to explore and some may choose to fly into Dublin or Shannon, rent a car or take other transportation (you can check bus and train options) to get to Ballymaloe House.

There is so much beauty worth exploring in Ireland if you have extra time. Many add time in Dublin, while others venture from Cork to Killarney, the ring of Kerry and other gems. A car rental may be worth it … but don’t forget …. The Irish drive on the left!

  • • Plenty of thin layering clothes. Irelands climate is temperate, but the weather is changeable in March with temperatures ranging anywhere from 7 degrees Celsius to 15 degrees.
    • Wet weather gear, including wet pants … it is Ireland after all!
    • Good walking shoes, including waterproof/resistant hikers (we will be walking through forest and fields to some of the sacred sites, land can be wet and boggy in places)
    • A couple of outfits for dinner
    • Comfortable yoga type clothes
    • Adapters for electronics (Ireland has a 3-prong socket system). All appliances are on 220 volt system.

Your Hosts

  • Rose Reeder

Rose Reeder is a craniosacral therapist, certified reflexologist, and a member of the Natural Health Practitioners of Canada (NHPC). For the past 17 years, Rose has helped hundreds of patients identify their paths to healing. Her patients have ranged in age from a newborn (just hours old), to seniors in their eighties. Rose’s clients often travel to see her from Vancouver, Seattle, Calgary, and Toronto.

In 2022 it became apparent to Rose that the next phase of her purpose was to bring her 30 years of learning and experience of spirits journey to those that wish to connect, feel and understand the power of healing thru the energy of the Earth. And so, the idea of pilgrimages to the Planet’s Sacred Sites was born.

Rose and Maryann started collaborating in 2021, to intuitively seek out the places where the energy is closest to the surface. They began curating their inaugural Sacred Way Pilgrimage to Ireland. It is with great honor and excitement for Rose, that all may find their own sense of self, and personal connection to the energy of the earth. To learn to rest, reset and restore with it, and be inspired to the next, whatever that may be.

  • Maryann Madsen

Maryann is a lifelong learner of the human journey with spirit. Kim Eng says “When we are connected to source, and body-mind-spirit are aligned – when we realize who we are at the core of our being – we blossom into our life purpose”.

Maryann believes the essence of who we are, our true being, lives in and through our body and that we are spirit having a human experience rather than humans having spiritual experiences. She has spent the last decade quietly holding space for people to rest in sanctuary, heal in gentleness, and connect with the vastness of spirit in grounded safety.

She returned to her native Ireland in 2019 to reconnect her body with her spiritual home and travels to the “thin” places where energy ebbs and flows between our physical reality and the void of source energy. She now works with Rose to curate experiences that bring participants on a journey to the sacred places of the world and the sacred place within themselves.
